Beginning today and over two weeks to conduct the Fourteenth Conference on Climate Change in the Polish city of Poznan with the goal of negotiating a treaty to replace the current Kyoto Protocol on emissions of greenhouse gases, which are expires in 2012.

Among the topics to be addressed in these days are the adaptation, financing and implementation of technology for everything related to reducing emissions and deforestation. It is expected that at the conclusion of the reunion, will be made to delineate the basis for reaching an agreement at the Copenhagen Conference next year, which is expected to approve the final document.

Exactly one year ago in Bali, was the first reunion in which they treated the issue of implementing a new treaty to become the completion of the Kyoto protocol. After a year, barely able to agree on a new reunion, hopefully after its completion reach agreement and gives some guidelines for signing at the meeting next year.
