66th Edition of the Golden Globes: Film

13 01 2009

goldenglobe

The Golden Globes awards are a tribute that is representative of the television and film, awarded by the Hollywood foreign press accredited in order to reward those players who manage to shine and programs for their excellence. After the Oscar and the Emmy Awards is the celebration more representative for the industry.

The nominations and awards are decided by votes conducting foreign journalists. A detail worth noting is that the short time between the delivery of the Golden Globes and Oscars, although it had nothing to do, it’s an excuse for critics to review the winning entries, giving them some form of “indirect” benefit on the other. To learn more about these awards go this page where you can see better and further explained all categories. And if you prefer to read or hear the homepage of the past winners go to here.

Dragonball Evolution

14 12 2008

dragonball

Many of you know the adaptation are doing that 20th Century Fox Studios to the biggest serie of anime that a few years ago is conclude globally, I am talking about Dragon Ball. If I am like or not, is not the important point is that it has lifted many comments for and against, and here I could not fail to treat them.

If you are a follower of the seventh art, you will have noticed that the latest movies that have brought in the United States is a remake of one he had in asia, that while Asian cinema is exceptional, it is regrettable that until now, had no remake Approaching the quality that we offer the original movies, that what we saw with the ring, the grudge, Dark Water, the eye and others that do not remember now. If this was just so far that we can expect from this that soon – on April 8 of 2009 – will be on board. It’s not my wish to be pessimistic and I therefore hope that this will be a change in this paradigm is being implemented. However, I must say that as a start I do not agree with anyone who participates in the cast film, which is a negative point, hopefully in their work as players are claimed.

Now I find out the departure of the international trailer, but I think it is not official. In my first impression, maybe keep the line in the series, being so faithful to the original story, however good the effects though, left much to be desired from the acclaimed kamahameha of Goku. Hopefully the official trailer gives us more information, but I doubt very much that the stop watch.

Also I find that this will be a trilogy, which shows the value of them has to have the rights to this series, making the biggest party. Well, if they were interested in the trailer the great entertainment site IGN, we give away 4 possible posters for what will be the hype of the movie.

Everyone

Goku

Bulma

Roshi

The 500 best films of all time

4 12 2008

500peliculas

Going round and round the Internet, I find that the magazine londinese Empire, one of the most important journals in the field of cinema, just issued a list of the 500 best films of all time. Since my honorable estimated deserve some criticism by far the position they have and many others do not, well that should be below or above on the contrary, as is the case with “Ocean Eleven”, as it is a movie that finds may be the last post and another well-being lazy reaches 188, as “School of Rock”. Sorry if this one does not agree with me, but we all have different tastes and that more than one will be in disagreement with the position of most of a movie. Even I find out as they did not choose this list, if anyone knows I would like to inform me.

Even after this, I agree with them on the job number one, that is … … … … … … no, better what you see.

The Day the Earth stood Still

3 12 2008

earth

I learn through a blog friend, that December 12 is the world premiere of “The day the Earth stood still” or should be known in Latin America “El Día Que La Tierra Se Detuvo.” The movie is directed by Scott Derrickson and brings them as chief of Keanu Reeves and Jenifer Conelly. History does not know her well-unfortunately I did not see the “original” – however, for general comments are dealing with an extraterrestrial invasion and the desire of one of them to destroy the earth. The first movie, which bears the same name was directed by Robert Wise in 1951. And for those who are not aware, this remake has a sequel, Ray Bradbury wrote in 1981 a possible continuation of the movie, “The evening of the second day.”

And as an incentive but they put the trailer of which will be this remake. Hopefully not to disappoint the fans, with only a jet of special effects and a very weak argument.
